Devin is a skilled healthcare data analyst who uses his deep programming skills and expertise in healthcare payment systems to support clients’ strategic decision-making and advocacy efforts. In an ever-changing payment environment, he deploys robust data analytics to help clients better serve their patients, measure quality of care and respond effectively to health policy developments.
With over 13 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Devin has spearheaded data analysis for a wide range of clients, including hospitals and health systems, pharmaceutical manufacturers, diagnostic and medical device companies, post-acute care providers, trade associations and government agencies. This includes using very large healthcare claims databases to profile patient populations that can benefit from new treatments, developing microsimulation models to evaluate the impacts of new policies and regulations, and using sophisticated econometric and statistical techniques to answer key questions for clients.
Devin’s prior experience includes serving as an economist at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Office of the Actuary. In that role, he developed regulatory impact analyses for proposed and final rules, served as co-lead for the 2016-2025 national health expenditure projections, and built models and performed data analyses to help senior leadership make policy decisions.
