On March 15, 2017 the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) released their March 2017 Report to Congress. The 2017 report includes recommendations for 2018 rate adjustments in fee-for-service Medicare; encouragement for CMS and Congress to implement MedPAC’s previous recommendations related to post-acute care payments; discussion and recommendations around Medicare Advantage benchmarks; and an overview of the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Program.
