On July 29, 2019, CMS published the CY 2020 Proposed Rules for PFS, OPPS and ASC.
On July 29, 2019, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) published the CY 2020 Proposed Rules for the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (PFS), Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Payment System.
The rules include proposed payment rates and policy changes for CY 2020 for these three payment systems. The PFS proposed rule also includes provisions related to the Quality Payment Program, the Medicare quality program for physicians and other clinicians.
Comments for the PFS, OPPS and ASC Proposed Rules are due on September 27, 2019.
