On November 2, 2016 the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) published the CY 2017 Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) Final Rule (CMS-1654-F). The PFS is an annual update of the Medicare payment policies and rates for services provided by physicians and a variety of nonphysician practitioners. These policy changes and payment rates are effective as of January 1, 2017.
The PFS Final Rule is expected to be published in the Federal Register on November 15.
