On November 1, 2016 the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) published the CY 2017 Final Rule which included payment rates and policy changes to the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Payment System. These policy changes and payment rates are effective as of January 1, 2017.
The OPPS/ASC Final Rule is expected to be published in the Federal Register on November 14.
