According to GAO Report, 340B Financial Incentives Need to be Reduced

Today the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) publicly released a report highlighting the need to reduce financial incentives to prescribe 340B Drugs at participating hospitals.

The GAO recommends the Congress consider eliminating the incentive to prescribe more drugs or more expensive drugs than necessary to treat Medicare Part B beneficiaries at 340B hospitals.
