WASHINGTON, DC (FEBRUARY 3, 2025) – McDermott+, a national healthcare lobbying and policy consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Lynn Nonnemaker has joined as senior director.
“Lynn brings deep regulatory knowledge that will help our clients as they navigate a complex, evolving healthcare landscape,” said M+ Managing Principal Eric Zimmerman. “Her extensive experience in Medicare policy across both private and public sectors will be a tremendous asset, and we’re excited to have her join our team.”
Before joining M+, Lynn spent more than a decade as a policy and advocacy professional focused on managed care and Medicare Advantage. Most recently, she served as vice president for Medicare policy at AHIP, the national association for health insurers, where she played a pivotal role in shaping Medicare policy.
Lynn previously held the senior director of Medicare policy position at Cigna, where she led policy strategy on a broad range of Medicare issues, including Medicare Advantage, Part D, dual-eligible programs, and alternative payment models focused on value. Earlier in her career, she gained significant experience in government service at the US Department of Health and Human Services and the US Government Accountability Office.

Lynn holds a PhD and an AB from Duke University.
