On October 31, 2014, CMS issued the CY 2015 Final Rule for the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Payment System. This release includes policy changes and payment rates (including rates for new codes) are effective as of January 1, 2015.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) published the CY 2015 Final Rule which included payment rates and policy changes to the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Payment System. These policy changes and payment rates are effective as of January 1, 2015.
Comments on the proposed rules are due 60 days following the rules publication. The OPPS/ASC Final Rule is expected to be published in the Federal Register on November 10th.
