CMS Releases MPFS, OPPS, and ASC FY2016 Final Rules.
On October 30, 2015, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services published their final rules for the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule, and the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS)/Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) payment system. Unless otherwise specified, these policy changes and payment rates are effective as of January 1, 2016.
