Representative Experience:
- Served as the Washington, DC, representative for numerous hospitals and hospital coalitions by drafting summaries and preparing impact analyses of relevant legislative and regulatory developments
- Obtained sole community hospital status for a hospital, involving a quantitative analysis of weather pattern data to demonstrate that the hospital met the distance requirement
- Analyzed hospital cost reports on behalf of Medicare Dependent Hospitals to calculate hospital Medicare margins to support efforts to successfully extend the program
- Developed a model to analyze the impact of alternative payment methodologies for hospitals, laboratories and physician pathology services.
